Description

The Junior Android Developer role focuses on enhancing Android application development, ensuring quality assurance, and managing CI/CD processes for HMI applications on various platforms, ultimately supporting continuous operations and product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily meetings and technical alignments

• Conduct reviews and planning sessions collaboratively

• Communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies effectively

• Independently manage assigned work packages

• Escalate critical issues to designated contacts early

• Ensure quality assurance and ongoing development of software products

Requirements

• Proven experience with Jira

• Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket

• Hands-on experience with Android projects and tooling (ADB, ADB shell, scrcpy)

• Experience with Jenkins

• Understanding of Agile development processes

• Skills in root cause analysis and ticket handling

• Good spoken and written English communication skills

• Self-directed work ethic and accountability

• Ability to work within international development teams

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Kotlin

• Basic knowledge of Jetpack Compose and View XML

• Experience with Android Lifecycle components

• Basic knowledge of Kotlin Flows

• Experience with Android Studio

• Experience in unit testing

• Willingness to learn existing SDK architectures and development processes
