Description

You will design, build, and develop systems in microservice and monolith architectures, including solutions supporting the reporting and handling of claims. The role combines backend work (REST APIs), front-end development in Angular, and improving quality via automated testing and test pyramids. You’ll also participate in system architecture design, code reviews, Scrum events, and work on platforms handling high data and traffic volumes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve microservice and monolith systems

• Develop solutions for reporting and processing claims

• Participate in system architecture design using modern technologies

• Improve and automate selected business processes

• Create high-quality software using test automation and a test pyramid strategy

• Design and implement REST APIs

• Participate in code review (both giving and receiving reviews)

• Engage in Scrum events and collaborate in an agile team

• Collaborate daily with a team focused on code quality, knowledge sharing, and best practices

• Work on solutions handling large volumes of data and traffic

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of commercial Java development experience

• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA

• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka

• Very good knowledge of SQL

• Knowledge of Angular

• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Experience designing and developing microservices

• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs

• Ability to use AI tools supporting the software development process

• Knowledge of code quality best practices and code review processes

• Experience working in agile teams
