Description

You will identify data quality problems, analyze their causes, and coordinate with stakeholders, data owners, and remediation teams. The job includes assessing the scale of errors, finding new approaches to eliminate defects, and preventing them from recurring. You will also prepare analyses to support data-quality decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data against quality requirements and determine the scope of errors
• Investigate reasons for changes in data quality and identify sources of inaccuracies
• Collect, analyze, and document requirements from stakeholders
• Identify improvement areas and initiate corrective actions for data quality
• Seek new methods to eliminate data quality issues
• Align remediation approaches with correction teams and data owners
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and reduce risk of errors
• Prepare analyses supporting decisions about data quality

Requirements

• Experience in Data Quality
• Analytical background in identifying data quality errors and analyzing causes of quality degradation
• Understanding of the importance of high data quality for day-to-day bank operations
• SQL knowledge and ability to independently retrieve data for analysis
• Very good MS Excel skills for independent analysis
• Ability to collect, analyze, and document business requirements
• Knowledge of Jira
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Independence, goal orientation, and problem-solving attitude
