Description

You will administer teleinformatics networks and server systems, manage user access to accounts, resources, and data, and handle maintenance and repairs for network devices and server systems. The role also includes supporting IT system deployment and development, installing and performing initial configuration for end-user hardware/software (workstations, printers), and resolving end-user reported problems.

Responsibilities

• Administer teleinformatics network and server systems
• Define and assign access to accounts, resources, and data
• Troubleshoot failures and perform service activities for network devices and server systems
• Collaborate on implementation and development of IT systems
• Install and perform initial configuration of end-user equipment and software (workstations, printers)
• Resolve issues reported by end users

Requirements

• Higher education in IT with 1 year of experience maintaining networks and servers, or technical secondary education with 3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of LAN networking technologies
• Practical experience administering Windows Server operating systems
• Practical knowledge and administration of Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO)
• Practical knowledge of building and configuring desktop computers and printing devices
• Practical knowledge of MS Windows (Windows 10, Windows 11)
• English skills sufficient to read technical documentation
• Responsibility, teamwork and ability to work under time pressure; analytical skills and independence

Nice to Have

• Practical knowledge of virtual environments
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Practical ability to administer Cisco network switches
