Description

Develop PLC programs for one-off machines, production lines, and automated workstations. Create new applications in Siemens TIA Portal, including automation/robotization and automated data collection systems. Support machine commissioning and verify HW wiring together with electricians, including installation at customer sites and operator training.

Responsibilities

• PLC programming for specialized machines and production systems
• Development of new PLC applications in Siemens TIA Portal
• Automation and robotization of manufacturing and automatic data collection
• Commissioning machines in production and verifying hardware wiring with electricians
• Customer installation, start-up, and operator training

Requirements

• Technical secondary or university education
• Ability to independently create PLC programs for new machines and equipment
• Excellent knowledge of Siemens PLC and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of Profinet, Profibus, or Profisafe communication protocols
• Driver’s license group B
