Description

We’re looking for a technically and product-minded QA Tester who goes beyond just reporting that something is broken. You’ll investigate why issues happen, reproduce defects, and independently track down causes, while thinking about the application from a user perspective. The role includes manual testing for both frontend and backend web application parts, plus REST API testing.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and input documentation; identify ambiguities and prepare test scenarios
• Create manual test procedures; perform tests and retests
• Conduct REST API testing using tools like Postman
• Analyze bugs, reproduce them, and independently investigate root causes
• Verify data with SQL
• Use HTML, CSS, JSON/XML knowledge and browser DevTools during investigation
• Write clear test documentation, bug reports, and conclusions; communicate findings and impact

Requirements

• At least 2 years of manual testing experience for frontend and backend web applications
• REST API testing experience with tools such as Postman
• Ability to analyze requirements/documentation, identify unclear points, and design appropriate test scenarios
• Experience preparing manual test procedures and running tests and retests
• Ability to analyze defects, reproduce them, and independently find root causes
• SQL knowledge for data validation
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, and browser DevTools
• Ability to read technical documentation in English
• Ability to produce understandable test documentation, bug descriptions, and conclusions
• Independence, proactivity, teamwork, curiosity, and a natural interest in technologies
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (full remote not offered)
