Description

You will design, develop, and deploy core backend systems for a platform that processes satellite imagery from multiple sources. The work includes integrating satellite/ground sensors, operating on very large volumes of data, and ensuring scalable, stable services using cloud and container technologies. You’ll develop with test-driven development and emphasize code review and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend systems forming the core of the platform
• Work with Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and related technologies
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain scalability and stability
• Apply test-driven development with strong emphasis on code review and continuous development
• Support large-scale processing and visualization of multiple data types

Requirements

• Experience with cloud services from major providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience developing in one or more programming languages
• Ability to learn new technologies in practice
• Ability to give and receive feedback
