Description

You will operate and improve OT/IT security capabilities with a focus on SOC operations and SIEM-based monitoring. You will design, administer, and harden security solutions, analyze complex security incidents in second/third-level support, and build monitoring to ensure availability, integrity, and performance. You will also participate in on-call duty for critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, and further develop security solutions (SIEM, firewalls, VPN) and security-harden them

• Independently analyze and remediate complex incidents and security events in second- and third-level support

• Design and implement monitoring solutions to ensure availability, integrity, and performance of the security infrastructure

• Technically steer SOC tools, ensure their quality, and continuously develop related operating processes

• Participate in on-call duty and handle critical incidents and security events when required

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics; or state-certified technician training in Informatics; or IT system electronics training with several years of professional experience

• Experience operating Security Operations Centers (SOC) and SIEM systems

• Knowledge of IT/OT security and administration of security solutions

• Experience operating core IT infrastructure (virtualization, servers, storage, networks)

• Experience with server and client administration plus analysis and remediation of complex incidents

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and relevant BSI standards

• Security certifications are advantageous

• Analytical, structured, independent working style

• Ability to stay in control and act solution-oriented in complex, security-critical situations

• Responsibility, reliability, and strong communication skills

• Team spirit and willingness for continuous professional development

• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
