Description

Administer, implement, and optimize a global hybrid network infrastructure with a focus on security. Monitor and manage security-relevant topics across LAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPN, Syslog, cloud, and AI using SIEM. Develop network and security standards and provide 2nd/3rd-level support.

Responsibilities

• Administer, implement, and optimize the existing global network infrastructure (Cisco, 802.1x)
• Control and monitor security-relevant topics in LAN, WLAN, firewall, VPN, Syslog, cloud, and AI via/with SIEM
• Ensure protection, availability, and up-to-dateness of all used hybrid systems
• Further develop network and security standards
• Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for issues for internal and external customers in the listed areas
• Independently work on IT projects in IT infrastructure and system administration
• Serve as a service-oriented point of contact for network and IT security questions

Requirements

• Completed training or further education in IT with a focus on security and networking plus several years of professional experience; alternatively, an IT degree with a focus on security/networking or a comparable qualification
• Ideally sound knowledge of network technologies and very good knowledge of the TCP/IP environment
• Good knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls and how they function
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, services, and standards
• Quick comprehension with a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Good English and very good German
