Description

Design and evolve cloud-native architectures on AWS for AI platform workloads. Build routing infrastructure and real-time audio pipelines, integrate Speech-to-Text, LLM-based components, and Text-to-Speech, and operate/expand AWS services. Implement Infrastructure as Code and develop asynchronous, event-based systems running across isolated deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and continuous improvement of AWS cloud-native architectures

• Build routing infrastructure and real-time audio pipelines

• Integrate Speech-to-Text, LLM-based components, and Text-to-Speech

• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, ECR, SES)

• Develop asynchronous, event-driven systems

• Run multiple isolated environments with independent deployment cycles using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

• Release management and coordination of deployments

• Analyze and fix issues in production systems

• Technical alignment with internal teams and external partners

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend and cloud engineering; at least 3 years with AWS backend and cloud engineering

• Very good Python skills

• Solid hands-on AWS experience

• Practical experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes; at least 2 years with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code

• Experience with message queues, event streaming, and distributed systems

• Confident use of Git, code reviews, and CI/CD

• Structured, independent, solution-oriented working style

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a comparable qualification

• Very good German (C1/C2); German is the team working language
