Description

Senior Data Scientist role applying data science and AI to improve how teams understand customers, generate insights, and make decisions. Combine advanced analytics, experimentation, machine learning, and emerging technologies (including generative AI and LLMs) to build solutions that are intuitive, actionable, and adopted by users. Partner across business and engineering teams to translate ambiguous needs into scalable analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science techniques to customer and business problems (machine learning, statistical analysis, experimentation, causal inference, segmentation, forecasting, predictive modeling)

• Translate ambiguous business and user needs into clear analytical approaches and scalable solutions

• Develop solutions for specific users and decision-making scenarios so insights are discoverable, understandable, and actionable

• Explore and apply emerging technologies such as generative AI, large language models, and AI agents

• Rapidly prototype and evaluate new approaches balancing speed with practical business value

• Build and operationalize analytical and machine learning solutions with engineering and other technical teams

• Select the appropriate approach (traditional analytics, ML, generative AI, or a combination)

• Evaluate solutions for technical quality and real-world effectiveness (usability, adoption, decision quality, business impact)

• Communicate concepts, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences

• Develop reusable analytical methods, frameworks, and capabilities that can scale across users and scenarios

Requirements

• Doctorate in a relevant field AND 1+ year data-science experience; OR Master’s in a relevant field AND 3+ years; OR Bachelor’s in a relevant field AND 5+ years; OR equivalent experience

• Experience managing structured and unstructured data and applying statistical techniques with reporting results
