Description

Lead the design and implementation of a cloud-native, multi-tenant and secure platform for distributed fiber optic sensing solutions. You will build and evolve robust, observable platform components—data models, interfaces, and APIs—and provide technical leadership for architecture and decision-making. You collaborate with application teams to translate domain needs into effective platform concepts and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a cloud-native, multi-tenant and secure asset monitoring platform

• Build robust, secure and observable components, data models, interfaces and APIs

• Evolve the platform architecture to support field applications such as fire detection, critical infrastructure monitoring, and power grid solutions

• Engage with application teams to understand domain requirements

• Provide technical leadership by designing concepts, proposing solutions, and guiding decision-making

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar

• 8+ years as a .NET developer; 5 years designing, building, and operating production-grade distributed systems (ideally in IIoT or sensor-based monitoring)

• Excellent C# and modern .NET programming skills; ability to write high-quality maintainable code

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and messaging systems (e.g., NATS, MQTT, Kafka); event-driven architecture and distributed stream processing knowledge is a plus

• Good knowledge of web- and mobile technologies, protocols, frameworks (Angular is a plus), and persistence

• Knowledge of common design and architecture patterns and API design best practices

• Strong hands-on mentality and drive to create

• German and English at C1 level
