• Role: Compliance Officer

Description

You will be the dedicated compliance person, bridging regulation and day-to-day business. The role includes developing and maintaining compliance policies aligned with applicable laws (including MiCA, AML, GDPR, and financial regulations), conducting audits, managing compliance risks, and supporting regulatory reporting and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance policies and procedures

• Conduct regular compliance audits across all departments

• Identify compliance risks in business processes and implement mitigation strategies

• Provide compliance training and promote ethical business practices

• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting and maintain detailed records

• Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions

• Collaborate with Operations, Legal, and other teams to integrate compliance requirements into business processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field

• Relevant compliance certification preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management (preferably in fintech or financial services)

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial services, AML, and data privacy

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in both Czech and English

• Familiarity with Czech Republic and EU regulatory bodies/frameworks (advantage)
