• Role: Palliative Care Physician (hospital-employed, 0.7 FTE)

• Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday

• Team: 1 Physician, 1 PRN APP, 1 RN, 1 OA, 1 Manager

• Focus: Physical, functional, and psychological needs for people with serious illness; symptom relief using a person-and-family centered approach

Description

Provide compassionate, patient-centered palliative care with a person-and-family centered approach to address the physical, functional, and psychological needs of individuals with serious illness. Deliver symptom relief and support to ease the stress and burden of the disease process while working in a structured multidisciplinary setting.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified required: Palliative Care

• Licensure: Indiana Medical License

• Certifications: Must maintain BLS / ACLS

• Experience: Open to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians; Palliative Care trained preferred
