Java developer- eTrading

Investment bank looking to grow their eTrading team in Cracow.

Projects within FX and Fixed Income Rates, offering exposure to work closely with front office teams, based in London.

Hybrid role- 2 days a week in office required.

Role Duties:

• Responsible to develop and deploy derivatives systems with Murex Solutions

• Communicate with business to identify needs and translate client requirements into specified project briefs

• Develop logical and innovative solutions to complex problems

• Ensures effective project documentation and software documentation is maintained

• Maintain up-to-date understanding of the business practices and system capabilities

Candidate Specifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience on Java development

• Core Java 17 or above

• Solid experience with frameworks / tools – Spring framework, Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, CI related tooling

• Must have Multithreading experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills and able to present the problem clearly

• Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills

• Good communication skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• A highly-motivated individual with positive and proactive attitude

• DevOps experience and teamwork

• Used to work in big scale projects
