Introduction & Summary

The Infoblox DNS/DHCP Migration Expert will play a critical role in transitioning DHCP services from the Microsoft platform to the Infoblox NIOS platform. The consultant will collaborate closely with the in-house SME team to facilitate a seamless migration and planning for future DNS migration. This position requires a profound understanding of DNS/DHCP services and substantial experience with the Infoblox platform.


Main Responsibilities

The consultant will be tasked with the following core duties:

  • Planning the DHCP service migration

  • Implementing the DHCP service migration

  • Documenting migration procedures and best practices

  • Ensuring adherence to Change Management protocols

  • Analyzing and creating a migration plan for DNS service

  • Knowledge transfer to the Core Services SME team

  • Providing technical consultation on Infoblox platform configuration and optimization

  • Analyzing dependencies between on-premises infrastructure and cloud services

  • Supporting SMEs and Platform Owner


Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DNS Expert Engineer in enterprise infrastructure environments

  • Deep technical expertise in the Infoblox NIOS platform, configuration, and integration

  • Solid expertise in Microsoft AD integrated DNS

  • Proven experience migrating Microsoft AD integrated DNS and Microsoft DHCP platforms to Infoblox NIOS platform

  • Strong understanding of DNS and DHCP services in enterprise infrastructure

  • Experience with infrastructure service integration between on-premises and cloud environments

  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions for varied stakeholders

  • Experience in regulated environments with compliance requirements

  • Fluent English communication skills


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Microsoft DHCP platforms

  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies

  • Previous experience in financial services or regulated industries

  • Understanding of BCCM and DORA regulatory frameworks


Other Details

This position requires office presence at least three times a week and is based in the Tricity area (Gdynia). The role will involve working within the IT consulting service category, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
