Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst to serve as a vital connection between our fraud prevention units and development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into actionable technical specifications for advanced fraud detection systems. Key skills include experience as an IT Analyst, familiarity with relational databases, and excellent communication abilities.


Main Responsibilities

The Senior IT Analyst will be tasked with designing and implementing technical solutions that align with business needs.

  • Collaborate with fraud specialists and data scientists to identify fraud patterns.

  • Translate business rules into clear User Stories and functional specifications.

  • Analyze transaction data and identify data gaps within data lakes.

  • Document data mappings for integrations between banking platforms and fraud engines.

  • Act as the subject matter expert during Agile ceremonies.


Key Requirements

  • Experience as an IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst.

  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to execute analytical queries.

  • Experience in data mapping and understanding data models.

  • Proven background in banking or payment industries, particularly payment flows.

  • Domain knowledge in financial crime prevention.

  • Exceptional communication skills for explaining technical and legal concepts.

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.


Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with fraud detection systems like PEGA or Flowable OCC.

  • Familiarity with AI tools used in IT Analysis.
