This role offers a hybrid model, with 2-3 days per week working from the client's office in Krakow.
Responsibilities
Migrate PETL pipelines to modern, scalable solutions
Support and maintain existing and legacy integration systems, ensuring stability and performance
Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement improvements for end-to-end solutions and support experiences
Apply best development practices, including technical design, solution development, system configuration, and thorough testing
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, with proper documentation and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin for backend development and data engineering
Proven ability to design and integrate APIs
Proficiency in SQL, data pipelines, and protocol buffers
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT solutions and REST API development
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
Familiarity with the full system implementation life cycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)
Experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels
Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, and microservices architecture
Understanding of dependency injection, protocol buffers, and data processing pipelines
Exposure to Angular and TypeScript for front-end development
