We are looking for a Financial Controller will oversee all accounting, reporting, and compliance activities for Addepto in Poland, ensuring alignment with KMS Technology’s global finance standards and timely integration into the group’s financial framework. This is a critical role combining hands-on execution, local statutory expertise, and a strategic mindset to support scalable growth across Europe. The Controller will work closely with a global finance team located across Vietnam, Poland and the US.
🚀 Your main responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with Polish GAAP and ensure accurate reconciliation to KMS consolidated reporting under US GAAP.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all journal entries, accruals, and intercompanytransactions.
Partner with KMS corporate finance to maintain a unified chart of accounts, reporting templates, and consolidation procedures.
Financial Controls & Compliance
Implement and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to group policies and statutory regulations.
Oversee compliance with Polish tax (CIT, VAT, PIT), payroll, and social security obligations in collaboration with external advisors.
Support statutory audits, corporate filings, and other local regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all financial transactions.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
Collaborate with the KMS FP&A team on annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and variance analyses.
Provide insights into revenue trends, margins, and cost structure to support operational decisions.
Track KPIs such as revenue growth, utilization, and gross margin for the Polish operations.
Treasury & Cash Management
Manage day-to-day cash flow, banking relationships, and payment runs.
Optimize working capital by monitoring receivables, payables, and expense cycles.
Ensure local cash needs are met while aligning with group cash management policies.
Integration & Systems
Support financial systems integration (ERP, payroll, expense management, etc.) into KMS’s global platforms.
Collaborate with the Group CFO and finance transformation teams to harmonize processes and reporting cadence.
Drive adoption of automation and analytics tools to improve visibility and efficiency.
Leadership & Collaboration
Manage and develop external accounting provider.
Act as the main finance liaison between Addepto and KMS headquarters.
Contribute to building a “One KMS” culture, promoting collaboration, transparency, and accountability.
🎯 What you'll need to succeed in this role:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting/controlling experience, ideally within multinational or PE-backed environments.
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Polish GAAP, tax, and statutory requirements, including statutory reporting and local compliance obligations (e.g., KSeF / mandatory e-invoicing), with experience working closely with external advisors and authorities; exposure to US GAAP is a plus.
Proven ability to manage audits, local filings, and complex reconciliations.
Advanced Excel and ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Based in Warsaw, with availability and willingness to work in a hybrid model, including periodic on-site presence at the office.
Strong English communication skills; Polish fluency required.
