The Evidence Software department in Motorola Solutions is the leading provider of Digital Asset and Evidence Management Solution.The team is responsible for end-to-end software development including: design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance. We work in a well balanced scrum team with a full range of software development experience and local Product Owner. We embrace the DevOps culture and Continuous Delivery approach.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Engineering Manager to spearhead the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge Digital Asset and Evidence Management Solution. In this role, you will lead a high-performing Scrum team, driving innovation and excellence across the entire product lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, support, and seamless integration with other systems.

As a proactive and independent leader, you will ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality solutions while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. Basic Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building and managing engineering scrum/agile teams

• Practical experience in developing moderate size software systems

• Very good understanding of the software development lifecycle (cloud software)

• English language skills at level allowing efficient communication

• Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision

• An experience in managing the end to end software lifecycle

Would be a plus:

• Experience with developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure) 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields
