Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 times in the office/month).


As a Mid-Level IT Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the banking and financial services industry, focusing on developing and maintaining cutting-edge card payment systems. Your expertise will help optimize transaction processes, enhance security, and deliver seamless services to hundreds of thousands of customers, driving digital banking innovation forward.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Gather, clarify, and prioritize business requirements to ensure project success

  • Create User Stories, Use Cases, and maintain the Backlog for Agile project delivery

  • Prepare functional specifications and model end-to-end processes to support implementation

  • Design interfaces and integrations using REST/SOAP protocols, contracts, and mappings

  • Develop acceptance criteria and prepare test data for validation

  • Support UAT, SIT, and regression testing to ensure quality standards are met

  • Analyze production incidents and recommend effective improvements

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, developers, QA, operations, and security teams to deliver optimal solutions


You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in IT analysis within banking, particularly in card payments or related domains

  • Proficiency in BPMN, UML, interface specifications (REST/SOAP), and SQL for data verification

  • Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Jira and Confluence

  • Ability to manage backlogs effectively and translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Strong communication skills with a good command of Polish and English (communicative level)

  • Experience in process modeling, functional specification creation, and supporting testing phases

  • Analytical skills to evaluate production incidents and recommend solutions

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with security and operational processes within banking systems


It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of card domain processes such as authorization and settlement


Language Required for the role:

  • Polish (communicative level)
