About us:
We maintain and actively develop over 100 applications within our ecosystem, which powers sales on Wakacje.pl, supports our call center and retail franchise network, and handles communication with external travel agency systems. On our K8s clusters, we currently utilize 3776 CPU cores and 7965 GB of RAM.
Our developers follow a standardized daily workflow where CI/CD processes based on GitLab play a central role—from building application images and testing to deploying the entire ecosystem onto the Kubernetes cluster.
The infrastructure itself relies on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managed by Ansible and Chef. Our systems are monitored using tools such as Prometheus, Zabbix, and Grafana.
Key responsibilities:
Maintaining and developing CI/CD pipelines.
Automating and managing infrastructure (IaC).
Monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring high service availability.
Supporting development teams with deployments and environment configuration.
Optimizing deployment and operational processes.
Ensuring infrastructure security and compliance.
Requirements:
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (creating manifests, debugging, RBAC basics).
Ability to write simple automation scripts (Bash/Python).
Experience configuring and maintaining monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Basic knowledge of Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools.
Ability to diagnose system issues and analyze logs (troubleshooting).
Knowledge of databases regarding basic administrative operations (backups, monitoring).
English proficiency (min. B1).
Nice to have:
Experience designing advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
Knowledge of Helm and the ability to create custom charts.
Experience with logging systems like Loki, Kibana, or Elastic.
Creating custom exporters or writing advanced PromQL queries.
Experience with Argo Rollouts or service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
Knowledge of container hardening and image scanning tools.
