NVIDIA’s Operations team is seeking a Materials Manager for our System-Level Test Manufacturing Operations. In this role, you will oversee all production test materials and equipment to support our fast-paced production ramp. You will report directly to the Director of Production SLT Manufacturing within the Operations organization.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervise daily stockroom operations supporting semiconductor wafer fabrication, packaging, and test activities, supervising inventory staff to ensure timely material handling, transaction accuracy, and adherence to cleanroom and ESD protocols.

  • Monitor and coordinate the shipping and receiving of wafers, substrates, components, and finished goods while determining and tracking inventory levels, usage rates, and material shelf life to ensure proper rotation and minimize scrap or obsolescence.

  • Maintain accurate unit counts and audit data integrity within the ERP/inventory management system, manage and secure test hardware and equipment for both Production and NPI engineering teams, and oversee the procurement and control of lab supplies, consumables, and cleanroom materials. Additionally, Evaluate and recommend stockroom equipment and consumable requirements to support fabrication and test activities and provide training and process guidance to inventory staff to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

  • Serve as the super user for the in-house inventory management and ERP systems, maintaining software applications, solving issues, and implementing system improvements while establishing, documenting, and maintaining inventory control procedures aligned with semiconductor manufacturing quality standards.

  • Develop and apply advanced problem-solving techniques to resolve material discrepancies, process bottlenecks, and system integration issues.

  • Generate, structure, and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for semiconductor assemblies, modules, and test hardware, outlining complete BOM configurations to ensure all wafer-level, die, substrate, and packaging materials are properly defined.

  • Set up product structures within the inventory database and purchasing systems to ensure full traceability and revision control while collaborating closely with engineering teams to standardize hardware, part numbering, and documentation across product families.

  • Create templates for repetitive hardware and NPI builds to streamline new product introduction cycles and interpret and verify assembly drawings, material specifications, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

What we want to see

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ overall years of material management experience within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industries. 4+ years of experience leading a team.

  • Proven experience supervising inventory or stockroom teams in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and the ability to act as a system administrator or super user.

  • Proficiency in BOM generation, product structure setup, and engineering collaboration.

  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, process flow documents, and material specifications.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, NPI, and production teams.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 276,000 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
