Senior AI Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will join the AI & Data team and work in a multidisciplinary environment to deliver impactful, production-ready AI solutions for clients. You will contribute across the full lifecycle of AI initiatives — from ideation and feasibility validation, through data preparation and model development, to deployment and operationalization.

Your work will blend hands-on engineering, architectural thinking, and strategic advisory, with strong exposure to MLOps and enterprise-grade AI delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to end-to-end development of advanced AI solutions — from initial concept to production deployment.

• Apply strong MLOps practices to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and maintainable in real-world environments.

• Stay up to date with cutting-edge AI (including Generative AI), evaluate emerging technologies, run PoCs, and design innovative AI approaches.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (risk, operations, customer analytics, etc.) to shape and deliver AI-driven transformation initiatives.

• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members, contributing to internal capability building.

• Support the creation of thought leadership materials (e.g., whitepapers) and participate in industry events and conferences.

• Engage in transformation efforts to help clients adopt AI-centric processes and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in Applied AI, including hands-on work with modern Generative AI approaches.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Experience applying AI to real business challenges and deploying solutions into production.

• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including provisioning resources, model deployment, and optimization.

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automation.

• Professional English proficiency.

• Fluency in Dutch or French (nice to have).

• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting presales, proposals, or AI business development initiatives.

Location

The client’s office is in Kraków. Candidates based in Kraków or able to visit occasionally will be given preference
