2nd line Application Engineer with Oracle WebLogic

We are looking for a 2nd Line Application Engineer with strong experience in middleware technologies, especially Oracle WebLogic, to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2nd line support for applications running on Oracle WebLogic middleware.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and performance issues.

• Monitor and maintain application environments to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with 1st line support, development teams, and infrastructure teams.

• Support deployment activities, configuration changes, and patch management.

• Document procedures, incidents, and solutions to continuously improve support processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid experience working with Linux-based systems (administration, troubleshooting).

• Proven hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic administration and configuration.

• Familiarity with application deployment processes in middleware environments.

• Understanding of networking basics, load balancing, and system monitoring.

• Experience with shell scripting or other automation tools is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).

• Possession of EU/NATO security clearance or Polish citizenship and the ability to undergo verification in order to obtain EU/NATO security clearance.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of other middleware solutions (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, JBoss).

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
