Role overview:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based cloud solutions within large-scale migration and modernization initiatives. The role involves transitioning systems from on-premise to AWS, supporting infrastructure migration and driving architectural modernization with a strong focus on security, automation, and data ecosystem integration.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and execute on-premise to AWS migrations at scale.
Design and build AWS infrastructure solutions using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Control Tower.
Collaborate with Security and Data teams to ensure automation, compliance, and adherence to corporate security standards.
Modernize application and infrastructure architecture for scalability and performance.
Monitor resource usage, optimize costs, and ensure high availability.
Prepare technical documentation and participate in reporting and meetings in English.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of hands-on experience as an AWS Engineer or Architect.
Strong, practical knowledge of AWS services, cloud networking, identity and access management, and account operations.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Excellent command of spoken and written English (technical communication, reporting, and documentation).
Availability to work on-site in Gdańsk during European business hours.
Readiness to undergo a background check as part of the onboarding process.
