Mid Cloud Engineer with AWS & TypeScript

Responsibilities:

Replatforming existing Addressable AdTech microservices to a scalable, testable, and modern TypeScript-based environment
Working with existing serverless Python applications in the areas of Creative Workflow (ingestion, processing and distribution of advertising materials) and SAS & Operational Utilities (supporting advertising planning teams and enriching data in SAS360)
Utilising AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS and SQS
Integration with internal APIs (Catalogue, Schedule, Junction) and external services (SKY API, SAS, YouTube, Google Sheets, Gmail Composer, IBM Cloudant)
Application of best practices in architecture, automation, structured manufacturing cycle and observability

Requirements:

Experience with TypeScript
Experience with AWS Serverless
Knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS, SQS
Knowledge of AWS core services: IAM, CloudWatch, S3
Experience with IaC (Terraform)
Understanding of "well-architected" principles: security, operational excellence etc
Knowledge of English at B2 level (minimum)

Nice to have:

Knowledge of IBM Cloudant
Experience with GitHub Actions
Knowledge of Python
Experience with Datadog
Knowledge of AWS Chalice / AWS MediaConvert
