ServiceNow CMDB & CSDM Architect

We are now looking for ServiceNow CMDB / CSDM Experts to work with one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain ServiceNow CMDB architecture in alignment with CSDM v4/v5 (Application Service, Service Offering, Technical Service, etc)

• Manage CI Class Manager and CMDB data dictionary (inheritance, class attributes, mandatory fields

• Set up and analyze CMDB Health model (Completeness, Compliance, Correctness rules

• Configure Data Manager and manage CI lifecycle states (create, in use, retired, decommissioned)

• Define and maintain standard relationship types used in CSDM (runs on, depends on, hosted on)

• Configure IRE: identify key fields for CI matching and set reconciliation priorities between Discovery, SCCM, and manual sources

• Establish and manage Data Certification Campaigns and ownership models within CMDB governance

• Build and execute CI consistency checks using Query Builder and Health Dashboard to detect orphaned or duplicate records and maintain CMDB integrity

• Perform data validation to ensure attribute completeness, relationship integrity, and proper source reconciliation across CI classes

Experience:

• Hands-on experience with key ServiceNow modules: CMDB, CSDM, Data Manager, Health Dashboard, and Query Builder

• Manage data integration using Transform Maps, Import Sets, Data Sources, Flow Designer, and Scheduled Jobs to ensure accurate data ingestion and normalization

• Write GlideScript and JavaScript for data validation, attribute normalization, and automation of CI updates

• Develop Performance Analytics and Power BI dashboards to track CMDB health, compliance, and lifecycle KPIs
