SAP MDG Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) projects, covering design, configuration, and implementation.

• Advise clients on best practices for data migration, consolidation, and governance within SAP landscapes.

• Coordinate and monitor core project tasks, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business goals.

• Assess existing MDG configurations and recommend improvements to optimize data quality and process efficiency.

• Support integration of SAP MDG with SAP ECC, S/4HANA On-premise, and S/4HANA Cloud systems.

• Participate in post-implementation reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance projects.

• Deep understanding of Master Data Domains across various SAP modules.

• Proven ability to assess and improve existing MDG configurations.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Data model and BADI enhancements

  • Master Data Consolidation

  • Integration of MDG with SAP ECC/S4HANA (on-prem & cloud)

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with senior stakeholders.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• University degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Data Services Information Steward, SAP DQM, or Migration Cockpit (BODS).

• SAP MDG certifications.

• Experience working in data migration projects or enterprise transformation programs.

• Additional language skills (e.g., German) are an asset.
