Description of the Role
The position involves providing Level 2 (L2) application support for a market risk platform. Key responsibilities include responding to user inquiries regarding the application, handling incidents, and managing deployment activities. The role requires close collaboration with development teams and other support groups across the bank, as well as regular communication with end users such as traders and risk managers.
Must-Have Knowledge and Experience
Proven experience in L2 application support
Strong understanding of containers and container orchestration
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools
Knowledge of relational databases and both Windows and Linux server environments
Ability to script or program in languages such as PowerShell or Python
Experience with trading or market risk applications, along with basic knowledge of related business terminology, is a significant advantag
