Trading Application Support Specialist (Front Arena)

Rate: up to 160 pln/h net + VAT, B2B

Location: Gdańsk - hybrid model (3 days per week at the office)


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the first point of contact for our trading desks to quickly resolve trading and data issues.

  • Handle more complex issues that require involvement from multiple teams.

  • Work with Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.

  • Continuously simplify and modernize the trading applications.

  • Manage automation projects for supported applications and the working environment.

  • Maintain and expand business flow monitoring.

  • Create and update the internal knowledge base.

  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Traders).

  • Translate business requirements into technical language and ensure timely delivery.

  • Take part in multiple projects within the trading systems area.

  • Communicate with external vendor support teams.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business understanding of Order Management Systems (Electronic Trading) within the Capital Markets domain.

  • Experience with Front Arena or deep knowledge of the equity trading domain.

  • Hands-on experience with the Python programming language.

  • Experience supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of FIX Protocol at an intermediate level.

  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level.

  • Critical thinker with an analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Flexibility across different task types (operations / development / analysis).

  • Basic understanding of the application/development lifecycle.

  • Interest in how trading backend systems and order lifecycle work.

  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage your own workload.
