Lead Big Data Engineer/Associate Data Architect (Azure)

Big Data & Analytics is the Center of Excellence's data consulting and data engineering branch. Hundreds of data engineers and architects nowadays build Data & Analytics end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and proof of concepts to full-scale implementation. We have customers in the healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and energy domains. We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

We are cooperating with a client, the largest independent full-service specialty pharmacy in the USA, which is dedicated to transforming healthcare through patient-centered care and innovative solutions.

IF YOU ARE

  • A Data Architect with hands-on experience in building large-scale data platforms, migration, and decision-support systems

  • A professional with an excellent understanding of modern data & analytics technology stacks and architectural patterns (DWH, streaming, real-time, event-driven)

  • Experienced in designing and implementing data platforms with a strong focus on Azure

  • Skilled in Azure Synapse and familiar with other Azure services (Databricks, Synapse Pipelines, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL)

  • Confident with SQL, Lake Database, and Python (PySpark) for building and optimizing data solutions

  • Strong in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project documentation standards, and application of software engineering best practices (e.g., version control, testing, CI/CD, code reviews) within the context of data engineering and platform development

  • Accustomed to translating customer requirements into architecture and development tasks

  • Proficient in leading and guiding data engineering teams, providing both technical direction and mentorship

  • Effective and proactive in shaping solution design, while balancing technical excellence with business needs

  • Unrivalled in communication and presentation skills, confident in engaging with customers and stakeholders

  • Capable of communicating in English freely in a multicultural environment

  • Competent with pre-sales activities or supporting solution proposals (as an advantage)

  • Familiar with Microsoft Fabric (would be a plus)

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and proof of concept (PoCs) to minimum viable product (MVP) development and full-scale implementation
