We are currently looking for a Data QA Specialist to join our team as soon as possible. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data pipelines within a Modern Data Stack environment. If you are passionate about Data Engineering principles and have a knack for automated testing in an ELT architecture, this is the place for you.

Tech Stack You Will Work With:

Snowflake, dbt (Jinja, YAML), SQL
AWS (S3, Athena, QuickSight)
Python, Pandas, Jupyter
ThoughtSpot
BDD (Cucumber)

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and executing testing strategies for data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
Validating ELT processes (Snowflake and dbt) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Writing advanced SQL queries (aggregations, joins, CTEs, window functions) to verify data flows.
Automating testing scenarios using BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and Python.
Collaborating with Data Engineers to troubleshoot issues in the pipeline.
Verifying data visualization reports (ideally in ThoughtSpot) against source data.

Must-Have Requirements:

Understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and the difference between ETL vs. ELT (we utilize ELT).
Proficiency in complex queries, including unions, CTEs, and window functions.
Experience with dbt project structure, including Jinja templates and YAML configuration.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture.
Experience with Database testing, Data-driven testing, and testing data flows.
Ability to use Python (Pandas/Jupyter) for data manipulation and testing scripts.
Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Athena).

Nice to Have:

Experience with QuickSight.
Background in Data Mining.
