Data Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

🌍 Work model: hybrid from the office in Warsaw (3 days/week).

⏳ Project length: 12 months + possibility to extend to 2 years.

Summary: This role focuses on data engineering, aiming to support data enablement across various business areas through modern cloud technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions for Banking, Property Finance, and Group Functions.

• Lead data platform migration from legacy Oracle & Informatica to Azure.

• Work closely with Data Analysts and other Data Teams to ensure cohesive data integration.

• Optimize performance of data processes and solutions.

• Engage in the development and execution of ETL/ELT processes.

Key Requirements:

• 5-8 years in a Data Engineer/ETL Developer role.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Competency in Python/PySpark or Spark & Python.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema/Snowflake, Kimball modeling).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performance tuning.

• Passion for Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI solutions.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.

• Strong attention to detail.
