Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines using DBT on Snowflake.
Develop efficient, maintainable PL/SQL code for complex data processing and transformation logic.
Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering strategies, and effective warehouse/resource management.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance by implementing testing, documentation, and monitoring best practices.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting DBT projects and Snowflake deployments.

Skills:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
Strong hands-on experience with DBT (modular SQL development, testing, documentation).
Proven expertise in Snowflake, including data warehousing concepts, performance tuning, and security features.
Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, with experience in stored procedures, functions, and packages.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles (star and snowflake schemas, normalization).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt Cloud, or Prefect is a plus.
