Associate Data Steward ( Master Data)

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of data analytics and data management? We are seeking a talented Associate Data Steward to become a vital part of our dynamic Data Assets, Analytics, and AI Platform at Bayer Consumer Health. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our core data assets across various domains, ensuring their completeness, semantics and quality. You will work closely with Data Analysts other Data Stewards and cross- functional teams to enable our data analytics solutions, enhance the strategic value of our data assets and enable cutting-edge AI solutions and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•              Data Verification & Cleansing: Review incoming data files and ensure proper mapping and quality standards are met.

•              Data Mapping & Research: Identify and assign correct attributes based on existing mapping knowledge, online data, and consultation with subject matter experts.

•              Tool Utilization: Use Excel and other internal data management systems for data loading, and mapping/standardization.

•              Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on data sources, processes, and mapping guidelines.

•              Quality Assurance: Conduct routine checks to detect and correct errors, inconsistencies, or duplications in data.

•              Collaboration: Work closely with other Data Stewards, Data Analysts, and cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and optimize workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

•              Experience: 1+ years of experience in data stewardship, data analysis, or a similar role.

•              Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning); familiarity with any data management tools is a plus

•              Industry Knowledge: Exposure to IQVIA and/or FMCG/FCMG data a plus.

•              Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

•              Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable collaborating with diverse teams.

•              Analytical Aptitude: Ability to research and resolve data issues by leveraging internal knowledge bases and external resources (e.g., web search).
