Senior/Lead Data Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to support the transition to new data movement and transformation patterns within a modern data platform. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, usability, and consistency as legacy pipelines are migrated to new low-latency and batch architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate datasets migrated to new data movement and transformation patterns

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with new data product standards

• Collaborate with data engineers to support migrations from legacy pipelines

• Perform data analysis using Azure Databricks and PySpark to support business and technical stakeholders

• Support documentation and adoption of new data products

Min requirements:

• Experience in data analysis within modern data platforms, including Azure Databricks and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure)

• Strong SQL and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake for data exploration and validation

• Understanding of Medallion Architecture, data product standards, and data quality principles across analytical datasets

• Familiarity with data movement and transformation patterns, including low-latency event streaming (Redpanda) and batch processing (Benthos)

• Experience working with Delta Live Tables (DLT) and Autoloader to support scalable data ingestion pipelines

• Ability to work cross-functionally with data engineers and stakeholders, and communicate insights clearly

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple analytical tasks effectively
