We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to support our client in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security solutions across retail environments. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical initiatives spanning POS, local networks, and cloud, ensuring compliance, resilience, and proactive defence.

Your tasks

Design and document a scalable security architecture for retailer environments
Develop and maintain security configuration baselines and hardening guides
Implement scanning and patching processes for retailer systems
Create and test incident response procedures tailored to retailer threats
Deliver targeted training and awareness materials for retailer staff
Deploy monitoring tools and generate regular security posture reports

Requirements

Ability to work in a hybrid model: 2 days per week at the client’s office in Wrocław
At least 5 years of proven experience in security engineering, preferably in retail or distributed environments
Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and incident response
Familiarity with compliance standards, e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
Residing in Poland required
