Project


You will be involved in a financial project focused on IT transformation and infrastructure modernization within a regulated banking environment. The role supports planning, coordination, and delivery of cloud, migration, and modernization initiatives, working closely with technical teams and vendors. It requires strong project coordination skills, risk awareness, and the ability to operate within strict security and governance frameworks.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Ensuring that internal processes align with project objectives and company policies
  • Supporting the implementation of internal procedures and best practices
  • Assisting in planning, monitoring, and executing projects
  • Tracking project progress
  • Participating in project meetings and taking notes
  • Collaborating with development teams, analysts, and testers
  • Helping resolve issues and remove project roadblocks
  • Monitoring project risks and reporting potential threats
  • Assisting in budget management and  report preparation

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • At least 3–4 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in a corporate or banking environment.
  • Experience with cloud or transformation projects, ideally related to VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), migrations, modernizations, or deployments in cloud/on-prem environments.
  • General knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or private banking cloud – general understanding is sufficient).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, load balancing, routing, network segmentation, DMZ, etc.) – enough to communicate effectively with architects and technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including: planning work and milestones,managing risks and dependencies, preparing status updates and reporting to stakeholders, working with multiple technical teams in parallel.
  • Strong communication skills – ability to translate technical topics into business language.
  • Proficiency in PM tools: MS Project / Jira / Confluence / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in an environment with strict security requirements and a complex approval structure (typical for the banking sector)

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in infrastructure projects (AD, network, storage, virtualization).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially Change/Incident/Problem Management.
  • Experience in working with vendors and external suppliers.

  • Certificates (optional but welcome): PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, Scrum Master, AZ-900 or other basic cloud certifications.
  • Experience working in regulated industries (banking, insurance, energy).
