Role Purpose

The Senior Product Manager ensures that venture goals are translated into validated product outcomes across Rimthan’s portfolio. They are both a strategic partner (owning product vision, roadmap, and KPIs) and a hands-on contributor (supporting discovery, validation, and delivery). The PM balances customer needs, client objectives, business viability, and technical feasibility, ensuring Rimthan delivers world-class products with measurable business impact.

This is not a project management role. The focus is on defining and validating product outcomes, not managing timelines or task tracking.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision

    • Own product vision and roadmap within assigned ventures

    • Align venture bets with validated customer problems and business opportunities

    • Ensure clarity of "what to build and why," in collaboration with Venture Building and Engineering

  • Customer & Client Validation

    • Collaborate with Venture Building, who lead validation, to frame hypotheses and support testing

    • Contribute to interview scripts, prototypes, and evidence capture

    • Ensure insights are integrated into product strategy and roadmaps

  • Execution & Delivery Collaboration

    • Write structured business requirements: user stories, problem statements, acceptance criteria, and definition of done

    • Support backlog prioritization and refinement, balancing client needs with technical realities

    • Collaborate closely with Engineering, who own delivery, to ensure scalability, reliability, and quality

    • Provide product context that enables engineers to design the best possible solutions

  • Prototyping & Vibe Coding

    • Participate in rapid prototyping cycles to reduce wasted engineering effort

    • Work with designers to bring concepts to life quickly for validation with users and stakeholders

  • Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Act as the bridge between clients, venture builders, designers, and engineers

    • Communicate trade-offs, decisions, and progress with transparency

    • Represent Product in client-facing sessions, demos, and workshops

  • Portfolio Contribution

    • Share validated insights and lessons across ventures to strengthen Rimthan’s institutional knowledge

    • Contribute to repeatable practices, reusable patterns, and risk reduction across the portfolio

  • Speed to validation: supporting fast hypothesis-to-insight turnaround

  • Adoption and impact: customer engagement and measurable outcomes for client ventures

  • Client satisfaction and retention: alignment of delivery cadence with client expectations

  • Portfolio learning: insights shared across ventures to avoid repeated mistakes
