System Engineer( Windows/Oracle)

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform/System Engineer specializing in Windows administration, complemented by strong database knowledge in SQL or Oracle. This role is crucial in managing operational data and functional flows within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will possess robust technical expertise, particularly in Windows Server management and database optimization, along with a keen ability to automate processes and resolve complex issues.

How does the recruitment process look:  

1. Technical interview (on-line 1 h) – with the technical expert & future manager

2. HR-interview with the manager (1 hour) – on-site/online

Main Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for various technical tasks, including:

• Administering Windows Server environments.

• Optimizing and managing databases, including SQL and Oracle.

• Writing and maintaining automation scripts.

• Troubleshooting enterprise applications.

• Collaborating with team members to enhance operational workflows.

• Engaging with AI tools to improve processes.

  
  

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Windows Server administration.

• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.

• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or similar languages.

• Strong problem-solving skills across platforms.

• Familiarity with enterprise applications.

• Experience using LLMs/AI tools in a professional setting.

• Proactive approach to issue resolution through coding.

• Strong research skills in technical documentation and resources.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Citrix environments.

• Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL.

• Exposure to Scandinavian work culture.

• Experience in migration projects of large financial institutions.
