Cloud DevOps Engineer (lottery industry)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our multi-cloud infrastructure. You will work primarily with Azure and AWS, supporting mission-critical cloud environments with a strong focus on scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Our expectations

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.

• Extensive experience in  with Azure and AWS cloud services.

• Strong experience running AKS and EKS clusters in production environments.

• Advanced Terraform skills, including module development, state management, and best practices.

• Experience building and managing IaC pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Solid scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, cost management, and cloud architecture principles.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented in delivering high-quality solutions.

• Knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2.

Welcome Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of serverless technologies, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.

• Familiarity with service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd).

• Certifications related to cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes (e.g., AWS, Azure, CKA).

  
  

Key tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud environments.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including complex module structures and state management.

• Build, maintain, and optimize AKS and EKS clusters used for production-grade containerized workloads.

• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud services across multiple platforms.

• Ensure strong observability and monitoring using tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.

• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including network security, identity management, and compliance controls.

• Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation for infrastructure, standards, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate closely with cloud platform, security, and application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs and architectural guidelines.
