Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our client’s cloud environment based on the Low-Level Design (LLD).

You will work closely with application specialists and hosting engineers to determine the most suitable hosting solutions. When a public cloud is chosen, you will manage the setup, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Additionally, you will support the migration of assets from the existing cloud infrastructure to a new Greenfield environment, ensuring a smooth, secure, and efficient transition.

Your tasks

Implement Cloud Low-Level Design (LLD) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Microsoft DevOps) and Azure Automation
Configure and deploy reporting and monitoring tools to support daily operations
Develop work instructions for Service Delivery related to operational support
Perform environment handover to operational teams and provide troubleshooting support
Implement Azure virtual networks and manage routing and connectivity in hybrid cloud setups
Select appropriate Azure resources and manage public/private IP address assignments for virtual machines
Utilize Log Analytics to monitor and analyse system performance,
Administer Virtual Machines (VMs)

Requirements

Proven min. 5 years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Automation
Understanding of network architecture, including routing and hybrid connectivity
Experience with Log Analytics and monitoring tools
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams
Fluency in English & Polish (spoken and written)
Willingness to work occasional evening hours to collaborate with teams based in the United States
Residing in Poland required
