Cloud Engineer – Azure | Terraform | PowerShell

We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and automation to join our growing cloud team. You’ll work on projects that combine legacy infrastructure modernization with scalable cloud-native design, all in an agile (Scrum) environment. You’ll collaborate with a distributed, international team and use modern tooling such as Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio Code, and SonarCloud to deliver secure, reliable, and automated infrastructure. Responsibilities


  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure using Terraform and ARM templates

  • Develop and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and support CI/CD processes

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and service issues in Azure environments

  • Automate recurring operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure Automation Accounts

  • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and custom alerting

  • Participate in rollouts and deployment planning using Blue-Green strategies

  • Ensure compliance with internal security guidelines and implement cloud security best practices

  • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation

  • Support application teams by ensuring scalable, stable infrastructure and DevOps tooling


Qualifications


Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (App Services, API Management, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, etc.)

  • Hands-on expertise in Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting

  • Experience configuring and maintaining Azure DevOps, including pipelines and Git repos

  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security concepts, and infrastructure monitoring

  • Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Azure Entra ID (formerly AD)

  • Solid understanding of Windows Server administration

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Linux-based systems and tools like Kusto Query Language (KQL) or Gremlin Query Language

  • Knowledge of Azure Artifacts, Managed Identities, and PowerShell DSC

  • Exposure to containerization and Kubernetes

  • Experience with REST APIs and tools like Bruno or .http files in VS Code
