Key responsibilities


  • Analyze and optimize application performance using a major APM tool (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic).

  • Investigate Java performance issues (JVM tuning, GC, thread and heap dumps).

  • Identify and resolve database bottlenecks, including slow query analysis.

  • Work with web and application servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, JBoss) in complex architectures.

  • Cooperate with development and operations teams to prevent and solve performance incidents.

  • Perform deep, drill-down performance analysis and present findings in a clear and actionable way.


Ideal candidate profile


  • 7+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, APM, or Senior SRE roles.

  • Expert hands-on experience with a leading APM platform (e.g. Dynatrace, AppDynamics or New Relic).

  • Strong understanding of Java application performance and debugging.

  • Proven experience analyzing database performance issues.

  • Solid knowledge of web (Apache, Nginx) and application server (Tomcat, JBoss) architecture

  • Strong communication skills and exceptional drill-down analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Preferred: Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Kubernetes / Docker.

  • Preferred: Python or Shell scripting and familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
