Our Client is an international financial institution with a modern technology landscape, developing systems that support the Global Markets domain.
The project focuses on automating testing, deployment, and maintenance processes, as well as migrating legacy systems to the public cloud (AWS).
We are looking for an experienced Automation DevOps Engineer who will help the team implement DevOps best practices, streamline release processes, and build a strong automation culture across the organization.
WORK MODE
Warsaw (city center) – hybrid model, 2–3 days per week in the office
RESPONSIBILITIES
Improving and automating testing, deployment, and maintenance processes in production environments
Designing and implementing CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions) and task automation in Unix/Linux environments
Collaborating with development and QA teams to improve deployment quality and efficiency
Analyzing the existing environment, identifying technical debt, and proposing improvements
Supporting the migration of systems from legacy platforms to the public cloud (AWS)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of experience in process automation or DevOps
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems (Windows is a plus but not required)
Scripting skills in Bash or Python
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Git
Basic knowledge of SQL, Docker, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and X-Ray
Nice to have
Experience with job orchestration tools (e.g. Control-M, UC4, BMC Job-as-Code)
Knowledge of the AWS environment and motivation to further develop cloud skills
Experience in the financial services or investment banking sector
