Weibel Scientific A/S (Weibel) specializes in pioneering technologies that advance the monitoring of drone activities and precision radar systems for tracking the direction and speed of moving objects. The company’s diverse portfolio spans multiple sectors, including defense, aerospace, and the protection and surveillance of critical infrastructure. The product is multi microcontroller based signal processing entity, where the software ranges from embedded modules for the microcontrollers and FPGAs and signal processing in a connected high-end server equipped with GPUs which is connected to a computer with the GUI application for configuration and monitoring.
Project Overview
Development of Automated Test, Deployment Tools, User Interface components and modules for External Interfaces for the Product and Processing software.
Software Test Automation developersWe have a need for test automation on desktop Windows & Linux based components, the primarily focus will be on the UI components developed in C#/.Net and WPF.
Requirements:
· C#/.NET Test Automation
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET for building automated test frameworks.
- Experience with MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit for structured test development.
- Ability to extend beyond unit tests into integration, system, and UI-level automation.
· Windows Application Testing
- Familiarity with Windows desktop application testing (WinForms, WPF, or similar).
- Experience with UI automation frameworks such as WinAppDriver, Appium for Windows, or White Framework.
- Knowledge of Windows APIs and inter-process communication for test harnesses.
· Build & CI/CD Integration
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Ability to design test suites that run efficiently in build pipelines without slowing delivery.
· Test Framework Design
- Skills in building reusable test frameworks and libraries.
- Ability to design data-driven and keyword-driven test approaches.
· System & Integration Testing
- Experience testing complex front-end applications that interact with hardware or external systems (e.g., radar data feeds).
- Ability to simulate or mock hardware interfaces for automated testing.
· Performance & Reliability Testing
- Competence in load, stress, and performance testing for Windows applications.
- Familiarity with profiling tools and monitoring resource usage under test conditions.
· Automation Infrastructure
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) for test orchestration and environment setup.
- Experience with Docker or virtualization for controlled test environments (if applicable).
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test as required via test/requirement specifications
- Deliver reviewed, verified and tested test functionality according to Weibel processes
- Cooperate with team (Scrum, Domain or other) to achieve a coomon goal
