Project Overview

You’ll join a fast-growing B2B SaaS scale-up that is transforming how modern FMCG brands capture, manage, and act on field sales data. As a Solution Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, and customer success: designing integrations, building PoCs, shaping data flows, and guiding customers through smooth, secure implementations. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly influences how global consumer brands operate in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall QA strategy and test architecture, defining layered coverage and standards across unit, API, and e2e testing.

  • Lead test automation with Playwright, ensuring reliable, maintainable, and fast-feedback e2e suites.

  • Build and expand API, integration, and contract tests, including test data strategies and deterministic environments.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the right tests run at the right time and providing clear logs, artifacts, and dashboards.

  • Manage system and staging testing, including smoke/regression suites and release validation.

  • Conduct exploratory and usability testing where needed, converting high-value scenarios into automation.

  • Support and coach Engineers to shift left, improving testability, acceptance criteria, and quality practices.

  • Monitor and improve quality metrics to guide continuous optimisation (flake rate, coverage, feedback loop efficiency).

  • Stay current with modern QA tools and practices, adopting only what improves speed, reliability, or developer experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in QA/Test Automation within B2B SaaS, with strong hands-on work in building and maintaining automation suites integrated into CI/CD.

  • Solid coding and automation skills in TypeScript/JavaScript (Playwright) and ideally C#/.NET or Python for backend/API testing.

  • Strong understanding of testing layers (unit, component, API, contract, UI/e2e) with a focus on choosing reliable, cost-effective layers first.

  • Deep expertise in Playwright, including best practices: stable selectors, reusable test logic, parallel execution, and eliminating flaky tests.

  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), including caching, parallelism, environment setup, and targeted test runs.

  • Ability to design and maintain system test plans, smoke/regression suites, and staging validation processes.

  • Strong manual testing skills with excellent exploratory testing and edge-case identification.

  • Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering and Product; writes high-quality bug reports, reproducible steps, and concise runbooks.

  • Fluency in Polish and an advanced level of English (B2/C1)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with contract testing (e.g., Pact), API testing frameworks, mocking, or service virtualization.

  • Knowledge of performance testing (k6, JMeter) and load/capacity analysis.

  • Experience with accessibility testing and visual regression tools.Test analytics expertise (flaky test detection, test impact analysis).

  • Familiarity with the tech stack: C#/.NET, TypeScript/Node.js, React/Vue, Vite, AWS/GCP.
