Junior/Mid QA Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

Client: A company from Denmark

Remote work: possible in 100%, but preferred 1-2 days/month from the office in Warsaw

Project language: English

Project length: long-term, the first contract for 12 or 24 months - up to the candidate

Start: ASAP / we're open to the candidates with max 1 month + running month notice period

Assignment type: B2B

Remuneration: 70-110 PLN/h - depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test scenarios for new features (focus on test design, not just implementation).

• Perform both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on automation over time.

• Collaborate closely with developers, reviewing and working directly with application code for automation purposes.

• Test APIs, web applications, and databases.

• Create and maintain automated tests (primarily in Python, prior experience not strictly required).

• Work in a startup-like, agile environment with dynamic processes.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and team workflows.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or QA.

• Experience in test design and the ability to define effective test scenarios.

• Experience with manual testing; willingness to grow into advanced automation.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of API testing.

• Event-based testing experience.

• Openness to learning automation in Python and CI/CD pipelines.

• Documentation and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and proactively identify tasks.
