QA Automation Engineer (ENG/RUS)

Junior • Hybrid

$10,000 - $13,000/

Warsaw, Poland

We’re hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Junior/Mid) to help us strengthen quality across multiple active projects (web products and internal tools). You’ll focus on test automation first (manual testing is minimal and mainly supports investigation and release confidence).

You’ll work under the mentorship of a Senior QA Engineer, with clear guidance on tooling, patterns, and growth path.

Location & work format

  • Warsaw, city center office

  • Hybrid is possible

  • Remote is also possible (depending on arrangements)

  • We can support a work permit process for foreign candidates

  • Official employment contract (B2C)

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain automated regression tests for web applications (primarily E2E).

  • Create stable, readable, maintainable tests: good selectors, reliable waits, consistent test data.

  • Run and improve automation in CI/CD, investigate failures, and keep feedback fast.

  • Perform minimal manual testing when needed (triage, exploratory checks, release validation).

  • Collaborate with developers and product: reproduce issues, provide clear bug reports, verify fixes.

  • Learn and apply best practices from the Senior QA mentor (reviews, refactoring, testing strategy).

What we expect

  • 1+ year in QA (or strong foundation + demonstrable automation skills).

  • Experience with web test automation (Cypress / Playwright / Selenium or similar).

  • Basic programming skills (JS/TS preferred; any language is fine if you can write clean test code).

  • Understanding of web basics: HTTP, browser behavior, auth/session, APIs at a practical level.

  • Ability to work systematically, communicate clearly, and learn fast.

Language requirements

  • English: at least conversational level is acceptable (stronger English is a plus) - all written communication/documentation is in English.

Nice to have

  • Ukrainian/Russian (It's an Eastern European team you'll be working with).

  • API testing experience (REST/JSON).

  • CI/CD familiarity (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

  • Docker basics.

  • SQL basics for validation/debugging.
